Driving over long bridges, finding nail clippings where they shouldn’t be, snakes, beans, making lists. 

What inspired you to join Dutchland?
I always wanted to try roller derby but I was super intimidated to try the sport until I met a coach from Dutchland. They were extremely supportive and loved the community that the league provides. This is genuinely one of the most fun things I’ve ever been a part of.

What are you most excited for with DDR?
Meeting awesome people and skating in bouts.

What are you most nervous for?
I don’t want to foul out of a bout.

What do you do outside of roller derby?
I’m a logistics coordinator by day. I have a few hobbies… stand up comedy, pottery, Magic the Gathering, spontaneous cooking projects. I like to keep busy.

How long have you known how to skate?
I’ve been skating my whole life, but it was on rollerblades. So it was a bit of an adjustment to be comfortable in skates, but the coaches are very thorough.

What is your favorite song to work out to?
I love working out to the soundtrack of Into the Woods. Don’t worry about it.

Where is your favorite place to visit?
 I love the beach. I have a yearly tradition where I visit Thomas the Tank Engine in Strasburg (no I don’t have children, why do you ask?)

Where do you hope to be with Dutchland by this time next year?
Still skating, hopefully improving my hip checks.
