What inspired you to join Dutchland?
I was looking to get more exercise and for something with a community

Playing in bouts

Playing in bouts

What inspired your derby name and number?
I’m a big Star Wars fan and fenced in college so I wanted my name to be shortened to Saber.  I’m a statistical programmer and 1.96 is the z-score of 1 standard deviation.

What do you do outside of roller derby?
Read, video games, and spend time with my dogs.

How long have you known how to skate?
I skated at birthday parties and stuff as a kid, that was all inline. I didn’t skate on quads until I started with Dutchland

What is your favorite song to work out to?
Anything with a good beat.

Where is your favorite place to visit?
The beach

Where do you hope to be with Dutchland by this time next year?
I hope to have more confidence in myself
